QNAP has released new NAS for SMB

TS h1677XU RP and TS h2477XU RP are designed for midsize businesses, equipped with 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processors, two 10Gbps ports, PCIe expansion slots and redundant power supplies.
The ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system provides the functionality you need to securely store and back up your data, and provides up to one petabyte of storage per shared folder.

The devices use the powerful AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with 8 cores / 16 threads and a frequency of 3.6 GHz (automatically boosted to 4.4 GHz) and support up to 128 GB of DDR4 RAM to support multitasking scenarios and increase the performance of virtual machines. Both models feature two 10Gbps SFP + iSER-enabled SmartNICs that can be expanded with 10Gbps and 25Gbps NICs via PCIe expansion slots to optimize large file sharing, virtualization tasks, high-speed backup and recovery, multi-streaming editing, and media transfer … You can also install QM2 cards for adding M.2 SSD slots, Fiber Channel cards for SAN storage, and QXP series cards for adding capacity expansion units.

The QuTS hero operating system focuses on data integrity and includes self-healing capabilities. Several RAID configurations are available, including Triple Parity and Triple Mirror for fault-tolerant storage. Deduplication, compression, and compacting features dramatically reduce the total amount of stored data while improving random write performance and SSD lifespan. Additional features such as write concatenation, TRIM, and over-pooling also help maximize SSD performance and lifespan. Supports up to 65,535 snapshots for comprehensive file protection and flexible version control.

The built-in App Center provides various packages for extending NAS functionality that implement virtual machine and container hosting, centralized management of local, remote and cloud backups, backing up Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts, VMware Hyper-V virtual machines, and more.

The TS ‑ hx77XU Series NAS works with QNAP 10 Gigabit Managed and Unmanaged Switches to build small data centers, high speed and scalable file sharing and storage systems.
